Halloween might be a ruff experience with stylish paws in Downtown Thorold. The first-ever Canine Costume Contest and Puppy Promenade will be a dog lover’s treat in Downtown Thorold on October 28, from 10 to 11 am.
Dog lovers are invited to get creative in a costume to match up in dressed up canine friends and join a contest to show off their pups to the public, participants and judges. The check-in time is 9:30 a.m. on the event day at the corner of Albert St. W. and Pine St N. in Thorold. The Promenade will start at 10:00 a.m. Prizes will be presented for a “Best Friends” award in recognition of the best coordinated dog and owner.
