We Need YOU – To make YOUR voice heard
Crime Stoppers of Niagara’s Elder Abuse Program would like you to participate in a focus group in your area. It is important to have your voice heard, to help shape a safer community for Older Adults in Niagara.
This focus group is open to residents of Thorold, age 18 and older. Limited spaces are available, so call or E-mail soon to secure your spot. We appreciate your support of this initiative.
If you require assistance with transportation to and from the focus group, please indicate this at the time of registration.

Close to 180,000 Ontarians have reported some form of Elder Abuse ──── Fact The Niagara Region has the largest population in Ontario of Adults 65 + years of age ──── World Health Organization 2002 “Elder abuse can be defined as “a single, or repeated act, or lack of appropriate action, occurring within any relationship where there is an expectation of trust which causes harm or distress to an older person”.

The focus group meeting will be held at Club Capri, 36 Cleveland Street Thorold from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
