A group of City of Thorold officials and local news reporters met with Dr. Babak Karamy at his new building at 15 Towpath Street on May 12th during a presentation hosted by Serge Carpino, Chair, Thorold Business Improvement Area and local realtor.
At the outdoor presentation, Thorold Mayor Terry Ugulini, CAO Manoj Dilwaria and Economic Development Manager Marco Marino learned about Dr. Karamy’s otorhinolaryngology clinic slated to open this summer in the former Print Three building.
Dr. Karamy recently purchased the former Print Three building from Serge Carpino, the broker of record, Canal City Realty. Sometime in June, workers are expected to start renovations to convert the 1,600 sq ft. building on 15 Towpath Street into a medical clinic. Patients with a referral from their family doctor will be able to go to the clinic for Otorhinolaryngology.
Otorhinolaryngology is a surgical subspecialty within medicine that deals with the surgical and medical management of conditions of the ear, nose, and throat. Doctors who specialize in this area are called Otorhinolaryngologists or ENT surgeons.
