MY Thorold Municipal Election Survey has been designed to give local voters an opportunity to show candidates what they think the important issues should be in the campaign. Please take 5 minutes to have your say. All responses will be anonymous and confidential. As a community service, a summary report will be submitted to the candidates.
The respondents in the first week of the survey indicated that Student Rental Problems, Opening a Long-Term Care Facility and Taxation are the top priorities to cover in the election campaign.
Respondents also indicated they want candidates to address their plan for road improvements on Front Street and St. David’s Road, co-operation and teamwork on council, as well as plans to attract industry to the city.
