Did you hear about the good news on the Thorold Fertilizer Sale ?
Good deeds keep on growing in our community as we can appreciate from this nice note sent to us from the organizers of Thorold’s 9th Annual Fertilizer Sale. If you can recall the chilly, wet weather we faced in early April, then the following results will add some sunshine to the beneficiaries at the local charities. Evidently, event organizers John and Teresa Tepylo show us that there is a bright side to everything in Thorold!
“We wanted to express our sincerest thanks for your promotion of our fertilizer fundraiser within the community. Despite the cold weather during the week(April 2-8), we are very grateful that we lucked out with the weather last weekend in comparison to this weekend (April 13-15). Besides, we still managed to raise $1200.00, which will be donated evenly between Community Care, Thorold and St. Vincent de Paul, Thorold. Thank you for your continuous support,” Teresa & John Tepylo
Thorold’s 9th Annual Fertilizer Sale was held over one weekend, Friday, April 6th, 2018, 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday, April 7th, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 8th, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Pine Shopping Centre parking lot, just a few steps from Elio’s Foot Comfort Centre. The fundraising event will support Holy Rosary Church’s St. Vincent de Paul Society as well as Community Care, Thorold.
The Fertilizer Sale organized by John and Teresa Tepylo offered great prices on 25 kg bags of fertilizer:
- 10-10-10 GENERAL PURPOSE $22.00
- 15-15-15 GENERAL PURPOSE $26.00
- 21-7-7 50% SLOW RELEASE $27.00
- 28-4-8 60% SLOW RELEASE $28.00
- 10-20-20 FALL LAWN $28.00
All taxes were included in the price of the Fertilizer Sale event. There were also great deals available on bulk purchases.
