Port Robinson Attracts Torontonians Moving to Thorold

Port Robinson is the place to be according to an article in Toronto Life. An interesting conversation engaged the In Thorold Fans on our Facebook page recently.   Here is how we started the conversation.

The village of Port Robinson is helping to make Thorold  the place to be for Torontonians on the move to our simple life. See Toronto Life magazine for this article brought to you by Empire Communities, developer of new housing project in Port Robinson.

Although the article is interesting, it fails to mention the benefits offered by the many locally owned businesses such as Elio’s Foot Comfort , Henderson’s Pharmacy , Yoga Centre of Niagara , A Yellow Flower Basket among other shops with excellent customer service.   Find other local businesses in the Thorold business directory. This is great news for City of Thorold
Empire Legacy and Torontonians interested in a community offering a simple life in Thorold.

  • Edward Durucher jumped in with this comment:

” A convoy of young families with children who are – or one day will be – school age would be good for Thorold and those families. I’m old enough to remember when Thorold (and the top of the hill in Merritton) had plenty of children, and plenty of schools to serve them.”

  • Liliana Capacchione simply stated “Nice.”
