Thorold Spring Arts Crafts Show | Major Attraction

The place to be on Saturday in Thorold was the community arena for the city’s major cultural attraction of the season at the Spring Arts Crafts Show.  The 40th annual Thorold Spring Arts and Crafts Show featured close to 70 artisans from across Ontario at the event organized by Cathy Henderson along with a team of volunteers from the Thorold Community Activities Group.

“It’s an opportunity to spend time shopping for and enjoying the multitude and variety of creative items offered by local Artisans,” says Cathy.

Estimates indicate almost 1,200 visitors came to the show to discover the unique workmanship of artisans and artists.  We saw an array of creativity at the show including home and garden décor, really cool edible and wearable art, clothing, marble and stone designs, personal care products and much more.  The hand-made jewellery was dazzling.  Shoppers found cool items such as Time Out Dolls, Unique Crafts by Vic Barker, Heidi’s Lovely Hand Painted toys, Fenwick Trunks and Barn Board, and beadKrap. For good food shoppers, Sweet by Nature offered naturally made maple syrup, honey, while De-Liz-cious Treats tempted our taste buds with samples of almond toffee and other treats.
