Where Can Thoroldites Go For Health and Wellness Support During Coronavirus Crisis?

Covid-19 Safety Measures Henderson's Pharmacy

March has been a tough month with difficult questions for many Canadians including Thorold residents coping with the coronavirus crisis.  While some Thorold companies have closed temporarily or reduced their business hours, a few companies have stepped up with their frontline workers to take care of our healthcare and wellness needs.

Henderson’s Pharmacy is one of the essential businesses open in Thorold 7 days a week.  On the frontline during this community-wide crisis, Henderson’s Pharmacy will continue to operate on their regular store schedule, open 7 days a week for people of all ages.  Customers can pick up their prescriptions, Over-the-Counter medications, or purchase personal care products, cleaning supplies, foods or beverages at the pharmacy.

Caring for the community the highest priority at Henderson’s Pharmacy. Even during the rapidly changing COVID-19 situation, customers can feel safe in knowing their pharmacists are available to speak with them about their health.

The pharmacy is managing a social distancing policy.  Two cleansing stations have been set up for customers and staff to use when entering and exiting the pharmacy.

“To ensure we provide the added resources needed during this difficult time, we have cancelled all flyer and special discount promotions for the month of April. We will continue to offer the best value and price every day,”

Minimizing the Spread – Tips on Effective Handwashing:

  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 15-20 seconds (This is equivalent to singing the “Happy Birthday” song twice)
  • If you don’t have access to soap and water, use a hand sanitizer with alcoholic solutions or gels
  • If possible, remove all hand and wrist jewellery and ensure that you scrub under your fingernails.
  • For more advice on managing the spread, speak with a pharmacist at Henderson’s Pharmacy.
