Thorold Christmas Art Craft Show - Friends Beaverdams Church

Thorold Christmas Art and Craft Show | Major Local Attraction

As a major local attraction, the Thorold Christmas Art and Craft Show proved to be the biggest event of the season for our community.

Visitors traveled from near and far to discover a creative community at the Thorold Christmas Art and Craft Show on November 18-19. Thorold Secondary School was packed with hand-made items.  Pictured above at the Friends of Beaverdams Church booth, Dee and Cathy showed the crafts on display, while raising funds to support the restoration of the historic building in Thorold.

The 24th annual community event organized by Cathy Henderson featured 88 booths showcasing artisans from across Ontario and a couple from Quebec.

The eclectic selection of unique items offered shoppers fresh winter arrangements, wearable art, and paintings. The craft community featured pine needle baskets, pottery, custom woodworking, toys and re-purposed vintage jewelery. Shoppers picked up gourmet jams, jellies, cakes, strudels, Gracie’s Mennonite Christmas cookies and other goodies for the holidays.
