If variety is the slice of life, then the Sopressata Night hosted by Club Capri in Thorold on May 10 was an impeccable taste sensation.
An amazing assortment of the Italian style cured sausage was shared and tasted by a packed house at the annual feast.
Congratulations to Tony Marandola on the first place award for his home made sopressata judged to be the best among all the entries.
On top of the big trophy, Tony was happy to take home the precious prosciutto prize donated by Big Red Markets.
Honorable mentions to second star of the competition, Rich Citrigno in second place and Richard Rapone earned third place in the contest.
