The Friends of the Beaverdams Church are preparing for the final stage in the restoration of the iconic 1832 building’s exterior—the installation of new wooden siding to replace the well-worn clapboards on the Beaverdams Church The estimated cost will be in the neighbourhood of $90,000.00, and while we are well on our the way toward meeting the expense, we need a final financial push before making the commitment.

The annual “How Great Thou Art” luncheon and art show promises to be an important step along the way to this goal. As in other years, local artists, offering everything from oil paintings and water-colours to photography and a variety of crafts will be on display and for sale.
The Date– Sunday, May 5, 2019
Time-From 11:00 a.m.-lunch will be served at 1:00 p.m. Tickets-$35.00.
Place-Club Capri, Cleveland St. at Lyndon, Thorold
Menu-Chicken dinner with grilled vegetables, rolls, butter tea, coffee, dessert. Vegetarian option available.
This year only, the new funds raised will be matched by the generosity of The Ontario Paper Thorold Foundation, so now is an excellent time to help the cause.
