Canal Bank Shuffle Blues Festival Donates | TCAG Gets $6000

The blues turned into a lot of green when the Canal Bank Shuffle recently presented $11,000 in total donations to four local charity groups.
Thorold Community Activities Group: $6,000
Friends of Beaverdams Church: $3,000
Animal Assistance Organization: $1000
Community Care: $1,000
The Canal Bank Shuffle made a generous donation of $6,000 to support the TCAG Family Programming.
Pictured here, a special presentation from Shuffle Committee Members to TCAG children and Staff was made on Thursday December 22 at the Nick Basciano Centre, TCAG, 131 Richmond Street. Flanking the TCAG mascot are Karen  Blackley and Tim Sinnett representing the Canal Bank Shuffle committee. They presented a cheque for $6,000 to Executive Director of the TCAG, Dan Pelletier. The money was raised at the 15th Annual Canal Bank Shuffle Blues Festival in October. The TCAG partnered with the CBS for the annual Thorold music Festval.

“The Canal Bank Shuffle is proud of our fifteen years of success in staying true to the Blues while making contributions to important community programs like those at the TCAG”. said Tim Sinnett, Canal Bank Shuffle spokesperson.

The Canal Bank Shuffle is an annual blues festival that runs for 4 days in October, the week after Canadian Thanksgiving.
The annual event brings the finest in blues artists from around the world to Thorold Ontario Canada.
In addition to this festival, the volunteer based organization present a variety of blues shows during the year to raise funds for the festival presentation.
