For 80 years in Niagara, people have been looking up to Henderson’s Pharmacy with appreciation for excellent customer service and their commitment to the community.
A month-long celebration of the 80th anniversary at Henderson’s Pharmacy culminated with an extraordinary event on May 31 in Thorold.
Congratulatory speeches and certificates were presented by representatives of the City of Thorold, Niagara Region, Thorold Business Improvement Area, and the Niagara Board of Trade and Commerce. MP Vance Badawey presented a distinctive plaque with a tribute from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Patients dropped in to the event and congratulated John and Cathy Henderson and many presented thoughtful gifts, cards, or kind words of appreciation.
Cathy and I sincerely appreciate the loyal support for Henderson’s Pharmacy from everyone in the community for all these years. We’re proud of our pharmacy’s heritage and remain committed to personally serving our patients. We are here for patients when they need us.

In the grand prize draw officially handled by Rev. Ken MacQuarrie, Nettie Wuerffel won a Niagara on the Lake Getaway Package for two with Shaw Festival Tickets.
Anniversary cake offered a sweet finish to 80 years and fresh start for another 80 for Henderson’s Pharmacy.
Numerous prizes were awarded in draws in May along with 80 cent deals for customers to celebrate the milestone.
