The Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III & Queen Camilla will be celebrated in Thorold at a special event to be hosted by the Thorold Garden Club in collaboration with the Thorold Seniors Centre.
The community is invited to attend the High Tea to take place on May 6, 2023, 11:30 am to 2:00 pm at the Thorold Seniors Centre, 8 Carleton St. S. Thorold.
A presentation on tea by local horticulture columnist Theresa Forte will be a special feature of the event. The presentation will focus on herbs and more from your garden that can be made into teas for harvest and health in 2023. Her talk will cover the different teas you can make from garden plants. Attendess will learn how gardening, from balcony containers or in a yard, can boost the health of elderly persons.
