Easter Egg Hunt Thorold 2022

Easter Egg Hunt Brings Community Together

We hear the Easter Egg Hunt was an egg-cellent success for every bunny on Saturday at Richmond Street Park. Mark DeVos, Pastor, The Village Church says he was overwhelmed by the enthusiasm from the community.

The free community event was sponsored by The Village Church and Henderson’s Pharmacy. Due to popular demand registration for the Easter Egg Hunt sold-out.

It is sad that we have had to turn some people away. The past two years have been such a challenge for so many, I think people are just thankful for the opportunity to gather again.

Mark DeVos, Pastor, The Village Church

The event organizers were excited to schedule an appearance from the Mayor of Thorold, Terry Ugulini and a team from the Thorold Fire Department to provide moral support for the community event.

Organizers put a lot of effort and creativity to co-ordinate the games for kids and put smiles on people’s faces.

It’s been delightful to see volunteers step up from all different faiths and backgrounds! We truly are stronger as a community when we work together on these kinds of events.

Mark DeVos, Pastor, The Village Church

The organizers expressed their gratitude for the donations from Print Three Thorold, Henderson’s Pharmacy and Protection Hose Company #1.
