4th Annual Community Event to Be Hosted by Knights of Columbus, April 12, 13, 14
Embrace the local beauty of nature and come together in Thorold for a delightful day of green-thumb fun at our Garden Fest. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just discovering your love for plants and lawn care, the Knights of Columbus have what it takes to create a vibrant gathering.
This event is open to all members of the community, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Let’s come together to celebrate our love for nature and cultivate a greener, eco-friendly community!

What to Expect:
- Great Deals on Lawn and Garden Products
- High-quality lawn and garden fertilizers supplied by Niagara Orchard & Vineyard Corp. will be on sale.
- Garden compost donated by Walker Industries will be sold for $5 per bag.
- Premium grass seed will be on sale with various options to choose.
- Plant Sale: Stock up on locally grown begonias and kalanchoes from Schenck Farms to kick start your garden this season.
Barbecue – Saturday, 11 am to 3 pm
Indulge in delicious grilled favorites at the community barbecue on Saturday, April 13, 11 am to 2 pm. Enjoy hamburgers, hot dogs or sausages available for purchase at family-friendly prices.
Bottle Collection
To help keep the environment clean and safe, Garden Fest will feature a bottle and used battery collection. K of C volunteers will be in the parking lot to assist donors to drop off donations.
Food Bank Drive
Garden Fest welcomes everyone in our community to grow together and help persons in need of food. Non-perishable food items will be collected to support the St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank in Thorold.
50/50 Draw
50/50 Draw tickets will be on sale for a chance to win a cash prize, and help the Knights help others.

Event Proceeds To Charities
This year the proceeds from the fundraising event will go to Wellspring Niagara, Special Olympics and St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank. Over the past three years, Garden Fest has donated more than $9,500 to charities.
