Local artisans and farmers have a new and exciting opportunity to sell their creations at Thorold’s Harvest Fest in September. Vendor applications for the new arts and crafts show in Thorold are now being accepted for the event hosted by the Knights of Columbus 2319. The event will be held on Saturday, September 10 from 9 am to 5 pm. and Sunday, September 11, from 9 am to 1 pm, 2022.
The free two-day event will take place at Holy Rosary Hall, inside the spacious facility as well as booths or tents located outside.
“We are looking for vendors to meet shoppers coming to browse dozens of booths offering unique handmade items including arts and crafts created by local artisans, as well as locally grown fruits and vegetables from farmers,” said event chair, Tim O’Brien.
The search for vendors will look for local artisans to showcase a variety of creations for visitors to see and buy. Additionally, Harvest Fest has been designed to welcome people of all ages to reconnect and come together in a friendly setting.
“We can’t wait for our new Harvest Fest event. The Knights of Columbus 2319 is grateful for the support from many volunteers, sponsors, and vendors to produce a community event that is shaping up to be a success.”

Farmers and Food Vendors Wanted for Harvest Fest
Event organizers are looking for vendors to serve foods for visitors to enjoy in celebration of the local harvest. A sitting area inside the hall will be open for visitors to taste Niagara’s goodness.
Designed to celebrate our rural heritage in Niagara, Harvest Fest will welcome local farmers to sell their in-season vegetables, fruits, flowers, and plants for people to buy. Fall fertilizer, grass seed, compost and other lawn and gardening products will be sold by the Knights.
The Knights will be collecting non perishable foods to support the St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank. Visitors can also support a charitable bottle drive by dropping off beverage alcohol containers purchased in Ontario on which a deposit has been paid.
Harvest Fest will raise funds for a local charity to be named soon. Holy Rosary Hall is located at 35 Queen St. S., Thorold. Free parking will be available for visitors entering from Sullivan Ave.
Thanks to financial support of sponsors Bocchinfuso Funeral Home and Big Red Markets for providing funds to go toward event expenses. Sponsorsorships are available for other businesses to promote their brand, while supporting the community event.
