As a stellar community event, the Thorold Art and Craft Show has many achievements in the past 40 years. Hear are a few highlights on the annual event to be held on April 28 at the Thorold Arena.
History: an outdoors show started in 1979 with about a dozen 12 vendors at the Battle of Beaverdams Park. After a few rained-out shows, the event relocated to Thorold Arena.
Estimated audience for 2018 show: 1,000 to 1,200 visitors
Vendors: Close to 80 juried artists/artisans from across Ontario.
Focus: Unique, hand-made items by artisans covering a broad range of creativity including paintings, woodworking, bath and beauty, paper crafts, jewellery, foods, and other specialties.
Charity Beneficiary: Thorold Community Activities Group, since 1997.

Event Details
The 40th annual Thorold Spring Art and Craft Show, Saturday, April 28th 2018, 10 am – 4 pm, Thorold Arena, Front St N at St. Davids Rd E., Thorold. Meet talented artisans from across Ontario. Admission is $3.00 per person. The show is sponsored by and proceeds to our local multi-purpose recreation centre, Thorold Community Activities Group.
