What could enhance the fun with an amazing display of vintage vehicles at the Thorold Car Show held on Saturday, July 21st ?
The addition of a Kids Fun Zone enhanced the community event with youthful excitement as Front Street was closed to automotive traffic to allow pedestrians to walk along and view more than 100 cars lined up from Sullivan Avenue to Regent Street. Dash plaques were presented to the first 100 cars.
YFC Youth Unlimited offered face painting for the kids and promoted a 50/50 draw in a fundraising drive. Kids were happy to enjoy a Fun Zone with bouncy castles, balloon animals, cotton candy and more. The YFC mascot was a big hit with many kids lining up for a fun photo.
A free bike valet was available thanks to Thorold Active Transportation Advisory Committee TATAC.
