How can Canada’s National Soccer Team become more competitive in the next World Cup?
Many experts say training camps teaching the technical skills to our local youth would be a smart start. With this goal in mind, we are enthusiastic to announce the Super Soccer School will be held July 23rd, 24th and 25th at C.E. Grosse Park in Thorold.
In its 29th year of operations, the Super Soccer School features Head Instructor, Carmen DeRose. The former NCAA soccer player /coach and Thorold Soccer Club Head Coach is highly regarded in the Niagara soccer community.
The 3-day soccer camp supervised by Coach DeRose along with a team of quality instructors will focus on specific technical skills that need that our players need to rise to the next level.
I am trying to give back to the community and show my appreciation for the direction and coaching I received as a young athlete in Thorold. Our group is gearing up for next year’s 30th anniversary which will celebrate several generations of Thorold athletes as regular attendees in their youth, said DeRose, a Clemson University graduate .
The camp fee is $60 per child. All Thorold Soccer Club players will receive a $10 discount. For more information on registration, phone 289-407-3879. Participation is limited. Book today to reserve your spot.
