For four days in October the blues will infuse a beat across Thorold.
The beat of the 18th Annual Canal Bank Shuffle Blues Festival will hit the stages all around the city from October 17th to the 20th.
The line-up includes Pretzel Logic (pictured above); a ten-piece band dedicated to the exploration and rendition of the music of Steely Dan. Pretzel Logic is returning to Thorold for the Shuffle following a stellar performance at the Rock N Blues on the Battlefield show in June at Beaverdams Park.
Other bands on the schedule includes Harrison Kennedy, Max Hillier Band, Johnny Rawls And A Tribute To Stax, Brad Krauss Trio, Chris Antonik, Matt Schofield, Pappy Johns Band With Jeremy Keyes, Jack De Keyzer, Krista Blondin & Tribute To Janis Joplin, Hayden Fogle, Thomas Nelson Band, Riley Michaels, Billy The Kid & The Regulators, Catl, Annika Chambers, Mick Hayes, among many other bands.
The annual blues festival will feature major blues artists for shows at numerous venues in the city. Check the schedule for exact times of the performances.

This year the festival is presented by Rolling Meadows Niagara offering financial support along with Henderson’s Pharmacy among other sponsors.
A team of volunteers including Bob Liddycoat and Terry Ugulini have helped to organize the festival throughout the years.
In addition to this festival the group presents a variety of blues shows during the year to raise funds for the festival presentation.
