The Super Soccer School organized by Carmen DeRose concluded its 29th year in Thorold by providing technical soccer instruction to children 5 and up at CE Grosse Park on July 23, 24 and 25.
Thorold community leader Carmen DeRose was happy to see 35 children participated in this year’s camp. As Head Instructor Carmen was very pleased with the great attitudes and individual skills displayed at the 3 -day camp.
” We break down the technical skills such as dribbling, passing, receiving and shooting into two to three key factors that are continuously reinforced. Then we incorporate these skills in fun games,” said DeRose
A former NCCA player at Clemson University, DeRose also stated that his philosophy for the camp has always been that “you can have fun while learning these skills.”
