Deborah Rose of Thorold can realize her dreams after winning a $1,000,000 MAXMILLIONS prize in the July 28, 2020 LOTTO MAX draw.
Deborah, a 64-year-old retiree, has been playing the same numbers since they came to her in a dream! She discovered her win when she went to the store to check her tickets. “I wasn’t having a very good day,” she shared, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her cheque. “But it surely made my day when I saw the Big Winner message appear! I remember saying ‘What?’ And then started crying!”
Deborah told her grandkids the big news first, as she had promised them one day that she would win the lottery.
“They were excited and screaming, ‘Nanny won!’” she laughed.
The mother of four plans to travel and share some of her winnings with her children. “I really want to visit Greece, Turkey and Bulgaria,” she smiled. So far, she claims that her big win hasn’t really hit her yet but expects it will once her winnings are in her bank account.
“My advice is to stay positive,” she concluded.
