In an expanded region wide campaign, Thorold’s Great Holiday Food Drive will be held on Friday, Dec. 10. The collection bus will be at the Pine Plaza from 1 to 1:30 p.m. And food donation barrels will be available at various locations around the city, including municipal buildings and various businesses. This is Community Care’s largest food drive of the year.
Our community has never faced the uncertainty we are facing today. That is why your donation to Community Care is so important. Households who were already struggling daily will be at even greater risk and the number of households that are new to the food bank are starting to increase.
Community Care of St. Catharines and Thorold
New this year for Community Care, the Great Holiday Food Drive is expanding to assist more Niagara residents in need by collecting donations for all accredited food banks in Niagara, not just St. Catharines and Thorold. This year’s Great Holiday Food Drive, hosted by 610 CKTB, 105.7 MOVE FM, and 97.7 HTZ FM, has been promoted to be the largest fundraiser of the year for Community Care on Friday December 10th, 2021
Because of your help, we are able to respond to the changing needs in our community and we are constantly assessing the need and how to meet it. While demand on our organization has increased, so has the support from people like you.
