Small Scale Farms will host a course designed to help participants learn the fundamentals of the holistic lifestyle. The 2-day course will be held on Saturday, January 20th and 27th from 12 pm to 1:30 pm. Participalnts will learn how to make a very simple native plant medicine, and be introduced to simple concepts that may have been overlooked.
The presenters will cover the fundamentals of anatomy and physiology in relation to gut health, mental health, and general wellbeing.
The program organizers say food is medicine, so their course has been designed to help participants develop a solid foundation for the various things a person can eat, grow and/or find in nature, to help target a wide variety of ailments.
Attendees will learn together and gain knowledge about some plants we have growing all around us and we can use to help heal ourselves.
Small Scale Farms is located at 13145 Lundys Lane, Thorold. The program cost is $55 + tax for both classes. (The classes will not be made available separately.)
