Thorold Community Activities Group is a non-profit organization with people serving in, for, and with their community in Thorold Ontario.

The Thorold Community Activities Group  T.C.A.G. is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all Thorold and area residents by coordinating and delivering high quality recreational, cultural, child care, and educational programs and community services through committed volunteers and staff serving their community with pride. The T.C.A.G. was founded in October 1981 and the Group has grown in many ways ever since. The scope of this growth range from the number and types of activities offered, the number of individuals participating in the programs, and the events held within the City of Thorold for community residents. The motto has continued to be “People serving in, for, and with their community,” and thanks to the help and hard work of staff and our many volunteers, the Group has been able to continue providing services to the residents of Thorold. THE TCAG would like to thank all of their Volunteers for their hard work and dedication in 2015! Volunteers are responsible for counting, sorting, selling and managing bingo cards. Experience working Bingos is an asset but not required. Program Volunteer Assist program instructors with the program direction and implementation.

Assist participants with understanding and performing tasks. Camp Volunteer Assist camp leaders with daily camp tasks including craft set up and clean up, gym time, passive games, head counts and pool time. Special Event Volunteer Assist TCAG with special events such as Auction, Trivia Night, BBQ’s, Arts and Crafts show and Banquets. Volunteers needed who are available to assist with set up, take down and event duration. Volunteers with Smart Serve also needed. Advertising Volunteer Assist TCAG with promotion and advertising of programs and events at TCAG.

Be a member of a team of individuals who attend community special events and school functions to promote TCAG. Youth Advisory Committee Youth who want to use their leadership skills to better the community they live in. Work with TCAG to ensure that the youth population is being served and needs are being met.
