Ready for a dip in the Thorold Community Pool? Free swim passes are back for another season at Henderson’s Pharmacy.
Due to the popularity of the community service aimed to promote fitness and fun, Henderson’s Pharmacy will cover the entrance fee for adults and children who wish to swim at the Thorold Community Pool. Simply visit Henderson’s Pharmacy located at 15 Front Street, South, Thorold, and ask for a pass. The community pool opened on Saturday, June 23, with a special schedule to July 1. Public Swim 12:30 – 2:30 p.m., 3:30 – 4:45 p.m, 7:00 – 8:00 p.m., as well as an Adult/Lane Swim 8:00 – 9:00 p.m. The regular pool schedule will run to September 3, 2018. Henderson’s also supplies pool passes to the Thorold Community Activities Group to ensure all the children in their summer programs enjoy a swim every day.

The Thorold Community Pool is located at 111 Richmond Street. The outdoor swimming pool is open daily from the end of June to the Labour Day weekend. The 6-lane, 25-metre outdoor pool includes a gently sloped beach entry, spiral slide, diving board, splash pad and barrier-free access via a wheelchair accessible ramp into the pool. The facility offers male and female change rooms and washrooms, a sound system and sun shelters around the perimeter of the pool.
The Thorold Community pool was constructed at a cost of $3.87- million and opened in 2010. The pool has a maximum operating capacity of 350 patrons in the pool and on the pool deck.
