Tuesday, November 24, 2020, 7:15 am via Zoom
If you want to participate in the transformation of the city of Thorold, plan to attend the Thorold Leaders Prayer Breakfast on Tuesday, November 24 at 7:15 am. The third annual event will be hosted the Thorold Ministerial (also known as One Church Thorold). This year the Thorold Leaders Prayer Breakfast will be presented via Zoom.
A Caring Community: Theme for 2020 Presentation
Organizers say the community event is an opportunity to connect with local leaders over breakfast from home via Zoom. The presentation is expected to include various Thorold churches, businesses, community organizations, and public services. The event will feature a keynote speaker, Pastor Ken MacQuarrie.
After being inspired by Pastor Ken, the event will shift to an update from Mayor Terry Ugilini. Further, there will be updates from One Thorold’s progress in developing Neighbourhood Hubs throughout the city and the work of the Housing Committee regarding developing local housing solutions with community-supports with a goal to help the homeless and the precariously housed in our city off the streets in Thorold.
Terence Schilstra, pastor of The Table in downtown Thorold.
The event will wrap up with prayer for the work to be done in Thorold, as well as prayer for local leaders and organizations that serve the community in Thorold.
