What would you do if you won the Instant Cash for Life lottery?
When the OLG asked Tanja Mutic she chose a lump sum payout as a recent winner of Instant Cash for Life. In a news release, we learned that the retired Thorold resident opted for a one-time payment of $675,000 instead of the $1,000 weekly payout for life.
Apparently, the 62-year old retired food industry worker had her ticket for months before she checked it. The winning ticket was purchased at Starsky Fine Foods on Queenston
“I decided to finally play my ticket and I started laughing. I called my son to come take a look and we didn’t believe it. I was shocked. My son said, ‘If anyone deserves this, it’s you!’”
smiled Tanja
Tanja says her son and husband we’re happy about her win.
Tanja expects to share her winnings with her family
“I will give some to my kids to use as they wish and some to my husband, who will probably buy a car. I will also save for a vacation when the virus is gone,”
she concluded
Congratulations Tanja!
